Charming Plaza
One of the larger public squares in the town of Santillana del Mar, though not the historic centre. Some of the principal sites of the town including Torre del Merino, Torre de Don Borja and the Town Hall are located here. You’ll also find wonderful examples of charming Cantabrian architecture at the square. The only downside is that the square isn’t overly endowed with cafes, but it’s only a small town.

Back to the Middle Ages!
This is a beautiful main square in Santillana del Mar. The town is just incredible, it is just like going back to the Middle Ages. It is surrounded by the Borja Tower, the town hall, and several picturesque houses. Everything is cobblestone, so I highly recommend to comfortable shoes.

Wonder. Enjoy. Eat. Drink.
This really is time travel. going back in time to when villages were actually villages. You have all the modern conveniences of top hotels and restaurants and all the atmosphere of 100 years ago with cobble stone streets and almost no cars. Highly recommended.
