First Class Guiding in World Class Mountains
Climbed a single day with Pablo Mata. Excellent in every respect. Knows the mountains natively, even set several of the routes, seemed to be familiar with everyone we encountered. Climbed with my friend who is new to climbing and Pablo was able to work well with all skill levels. Will be back to the area next year for sure, and will come straight to these guys.

Right balance between comfort, challenge, and adventure
In Summer 2021, we spent three days climbing with Pablo in the Picos de Europa, which involved trad climbing, sport climbing and classical mountaineering. The trip was organized in advance by email and phone, where Pablo made very helpful suggestions, and replies came in extremely quickly. During the tours, everything worked out perfectly and met our expectations. Pablo found the right balance between comfort, challenge, and adventure. All communication went smoothly in English. Climbing with Pablo Santiago Mata
I recently climbed In Picos de Europa on two climbs in the Fuente Dé area. Getting in contact through guidaspicos.com with Pablo Santiago Mata, mountain-guide, was really a snap. I can absolutely recommend Pablo to other clients. Very professional, competent, safe and pleasant mountain-guide (with a great sense of humor!) I would definitely use Picos Guidas de Montana for future adventures. Thanks again for a great experience. Already looking forward to the next trip
