Beautiful, despite the fog
This is not just the road from Bilbao or Santilla del Mar to Fuente Dé; this is one of those cases where the journey is the destination. It was such a cloudy day that when my husband and I arrived to Fuente Dé, we couldn´t get even a glimpse of the peaks (Picos de Europa). Fortunately, the road took us through this gorge with majestic hills, crests, brooks, and forest. I couldn´t put down my camera, because the next view was better than the one before. If you are in a group, you may want to draw lots on who´s driving, because he´ll have to focus on the road and miss part of the views. Traffic is difficult in this narrow, two ways mountain road. Once you find a truck, you´ll get stuck behind it.
