A unique place now even better
This place and its surroundings was already pretty unique. (Near Oyambre beach, on the Santiago Pilgrim Route, golf course designed by Seve Ballesteros). Now, it's even better, with careful work on the course and the clubhouse. If you're a golfer staying in Cantabria or passing through, I'd definitely recommend you play here. After your round, lunch on the clubhouse terrace overlooking holes 9 and 18 is reasonably priced and good quality.

Hard to beat!
Being a member, I'm totally biased but this course just keeps getting better! If you're one for a challenge and unforgettable holes in a scenic setting, Seve designed this course for you. You'll get a warm welcome at the pros shop and they'll even let you try out your Spanish! You will be spoilt not only by views of the sea but also views of the Picos de Europa mountains capped in snow most of the year round. Yes, the course is hilly and yes, you'll rarely have a flat lie but if you like your golf experiences to be memorable, this course is right up there at the top. And the 19th couldn't be more accommodating with a beautiful terrace in the summer and a log fire for the winter months set in an 18th century country manor.

wonderful golf course
This golf course was fantastic, also the clubhouse serves up some lovely food and the hospitality in general was very good, including the lady in the pro shop
