Faro del Caballo hike/canoe

My host family and I went for this hike today and it was lovely! It began with a tour held in Spanish, then we walked the route for maybe 1.5-2 hours and it was beautiful. Many places to stop and take photos. When we finally got to the end of the train there were canoes waiting for us to take us back. We jumped off the cliff (the small children had some stairs to walk down so they didn't have to jump) into the water and after getting into the kayaks we went through some caves on our way back to shore. Over all, great hike and great experience though I would have liked more time going through the caves. I appreciated that they had a boat following the whole time so when one of the kids got too tired, we could put him in the boat.

Don’t do it if you are not super fit
We went with Buciero Natura. As we are not super sportive people we called before to ask if it was difficult. They said it was easy and light. I have hiked a few times and it was by far the most difficult experience I have been through. The stairs were super crowded and at least 50 people all were going up and down and it is seriously impossible to maintain social distancing. The guide was polite but he saw that I couldn’t keep up with the ryrhm and he didn’t wait for us. I got to the kayak exhausted! The guy who helps us to get to the kayak was at least super helpful to help me go in (it is not as easy as it seems) but they left us behind (no one told us where to go) and took the group to explore caves, and not us. I guess because we were too slow?! They promised a drink they never offered (which was supposed to be in the middle of the way) and I got really ill and throwing up in the middle of the sea. Took forever to show up support. Once they came they helped me in the boat and literally as soon as I got out of the boat they gave me the backpack and that’s it. Not even asking if I was ok (they knew I was feeling very sick, didn’t offer water, support or to call anyone). Really disappointing. I think it can be a great activity for people who are fit, but people who are not in great shape need support and obviously we expect that from a company when we book an activity.
