    a small seaside town
    A small town where not much happens. A place for those who value peace without the crowds of tourists. A perfect starting point for hiking on mountain trails. Near the bus station to be able to explore other parts of the island, lots of places where you can rent a car. Delicious little restaurants with local food. I recommend a trip to the La Gomera Garajonay national park, similar to the original forest in Madeira but worth seeing the amazing views

    Valley of the king..
    Spent one day here (bus trip from San Sebastian) during covid crisis. 3 bus stops along sea front. Best beaches on La Gomera. Less windy, smooth entrance into sea that is warm for swimming. Fishes acco pany the experience! Some have fine sand, some individual lagoons have shail and/or rocks. Most restaurant and bars open, some seaside trinket shops and a supermarket open. Nice to sit in beach that is family and feminine friendly without the hassle of someone trying to sell you something! We were left alone to enjoy the view and swim whilst soaking up the sun.
