Lovely place. Shame about the terrible ticket office process and rude staff.
Fabulous day out and lots of animals to see. We really enjoyed it with our 3 year old although there is a lot of walking and sometimes up steep hills. The giraffe were a highlight as we got to feed them. In most places this close contact is more restricted so this was an unexpected surprise. Only negative is the staff at the ticket office. We’d pre purchased online but you still need to queue up with everyone else so only benefit was a discounted price. But the queue was very long. The staff didn’t seem to care. We were divided into 4 queues part way through but when we got to the front the cashier decided to do her paperwork instead of serving us and was rudely ignoring us when we tried to speak to her. Obviously they have to do this at some point but she literally spent 10 minutes ignoring us despite us having a young child with us. We ended up switching to another queue to get served. It took us 40 minutes to get in. They really need to look into a better system and to be a bit more polite to paying customers.

    Highly recommend
I visited the oasis wildlife park as part of an add on with jet2. We used the free bus which took roughly an hour from Caleta de Fuste. The size of the park is incredible… I really didn’t expect it to be so big! We went on a Wednesday and arrived at a similar time to other buses, so there was a queue to get in. However once in everybody dispersed so it didn’t feel crowded or busy. Lots to see and do, we watched all of the afternoon shows and highly recommend. Food and drink in the restaurants is very reasonable and not ridiculously overpriced. All of the animals seemed well cared for with a good amount of space, food and water. Make sure you leave yourself time to find your way OUT of the park - especially if you are catching the bus back! Highly recommend a trip to the oasis wildlife park!
