Great place to visit, make sure you have plenty of water with you if you are visiting the island during summer time. You'll need a good few hour to be able to see the island properly. We went there with a half day tour which was a great way of learning about the history of island and get to swim in crystal clear waters surrounding the island to cool down. There are water taxis that you can use to get to the island if you wish. Toilet facilities are available in the island. If you wish to use the islands famous restaurant, I'd suggest to use the water taxi as you won't have enough time to sit there and enjoy the scenery if you are on a tour.

Beautiful, a def must place to visit!
My husband and I booked a day trip to the island whilst on holiday in Fuerteventura and were so pleased we did. It is beautiful!!! So unspoilt as it is uninhabited, with only one restaurant on the island. We were advised by the lady who sold us our boat tickets to book lunch at the restaurant as soon as we arrived, which we did. The restaurant itself is a little local place, so nothing glamourous, but no need to be when the food is as good as it is! We arrived at the restaurant at 11.30am, ordered our lunch (fried fish and paella) for 2.30pm and went off to a little secluded cove behind the restaurant. It was so peaceful and sheltered, so the water was very calm (great if you have kids). We spent a few hours relaxing before returning to the restaurant for lunch where it had been prepared as ordered, and couldn't have tasted fresher. The grilled fish had no sauce at all, and didn't need it as it was so moist and fresh, it was delicious, obviously caught that morning. We couldn't argue with the price either, fried fish, paella, Russian salad and four small beers - 28 Euro's! Less than the boat tickets cost! We'll be sure to visit again on our next hol!
