Paper Museum worth a visit
We visited as a family of 4 after reading some reviews. We thought we’d give it a go as there’s not much to do ‘for kids’ in Amalfi and we are really pleased we did. The tour was informative and not too long, kept the attention of our 4 and 7 year old. The tour was in English and the paper making was fun addition. It costs 7 euros for an adult and 6 for kids for the tour, a go making the handmade paper and a small gift at the end. Lasts about an hour and it’s a nice break from the heat. I would recommend this activity. The Staff were really lovely too

Last minute stop, but worth it!
Went on the tour with Giusy, who gave it in two languages. She was great! Shorter, but informative and cheap. The younger kids on the tour seemed to enjoy it, especially making paper. (You do not get to keep the paper you make - it takes days for it to dry.) The gift shop has a lot of affordable gifts and souvenirs that seem more authentic than any of the more touristy shops down the main road closer to the port. If you’re in Amalfi for just the day, I’d recommend doing the Lemon Grove tour and then stop here on your walk back down.

A unique and hands on little paper museum
A small but very unique and well preserved museum dedicated to the art of paper making. A very worthwhile stop if In Amalfi. Museum is inexpensive and adding the guided option costs little and is definitely recommended as it gives you a hands on experience. Tour doesn’t take long and you will see ancient technology that still works. Educational yet very interesting. Check it out.
