Swim, boat and fish!
Wonderful spot to escape the heat on a warm Arnold day. Easy access in town for boat rentals. We had an awesome day of fishing with lots of planted rainbow trout and bluegill and bass. Really fun rope swing on far side of the lake from the beach. Kids (and dad) has a blast swinging and dropping Into the refreshing wAter. Good access for parking and some tables and benches. A lot of families were grilling.

Relax, Swim, Picnic
My friends and I went to the lake, had a picnic and went swimming. The lake had picnic tables in the shade which made it comfortable for eating and playing games on a hot August day. The water was cool and comfortable. We floated on blow ups and enjoyed an afternoon. We did go after schools were in session so little crowds might have been due to that.

Fabulous Fish, Super swimming, Family Fun
The water was the perfect temperature for all, completely swimmable. Little to no current made it perfect for little kids. Go to the sandy beach part if you are looking for somewhere with more kids. Around the lake are plenty of benches which are perfect for large groups. Teenagers will enjoy a rope swing on the side of the lake across from the beach. There is a place to rent boats and paddle boards down the road and I would highly recommend renting one for the day. Those looking to fish should venture to the far side of the lake near the grassy area on the left where plenty of nice sized trouts can be found. A must do if in the area!
