it’s absolutely gorgeous. We did the short hike to get there from the restroom area, but realized if we had driven farther there is a way To enter the Lake from the Tioga road which passes right though it’s side. Lake may be the most beautiful of all Yosemite's lakes. It's a mile (1.6 km) long and bordered on three sides by granite peaks and domes. The Tioga Road passes along the lake's northern edge.

Beautiful and so peaceful.
We entered Yosemite from the east, driving the Tioga Pass down to the valley. We stopped at various places, including Tuolumne Meadows and Tenaya Lake which is a jewel that many people may drive past without stopping. Another facet of this incredible National Park.

Tenaya Lake
Tenaya Lake is one of the beautiful lake in the Yosemite national park. It is little far of from the Yosemite valley. It is more than a mile and beach is there.The lake basin was formed by glacial action.
