    Powder Plus
First time there and fell in love with the place. Friendly staff and there was so much powder it was incredible. 9Hrs drive from San Diego ( 2 more than my usual ski spot } but well worth it because of the quality of the snow. Short lift lines and well laid out runs.

    Sugar Rush Tubing Snow Day
We did not ski/snowboard. We di the Sugar Rush tubing. Our 5 year old loved it and the staff were very helpful and friendly and promoted safety. The covered moving walkway up was very convenient and tubes are provided. The tubing per person was $40 for two hours which is a bit steep. It is close to I-80, but is a little tricky to find from the signage, esp if there is a lot of snow. After tubing we parked at the village gondola and took the free gondola in to the village and had snack/drinks. That was fun and we played in the snow after. It was nice that the village was surrounded by snow and not parking. The village was built along time ago so is like flash into the past. The food was good.
