Popped the BIG question on Caprice!
This review is far past due! My wife and I (my girlfriend at the time of sailing) were on Caprice with Dan and Carole in May of 2012 (this date wasn't available to select when I submitted this review). I surprised her with a trip on the wonderful catamaran Caprice while we were in San Francisco for a long weekend. Little did she know, I was about to propose to her. I went over the details over the phone with Capt. Dan and his first mate, Carole before we took off. We sailed around the bay looking at all the amazing sights and towards the end of our cruise, as planned, Capt. Dan ferried us in perfect style directly under the Golden Gate Bridge as the sun was setting behind the beautiful mountains. Carole quickly whisked Dan inside for a moment so I could pop the big question. It was an absolutely perfect, flawless evening on the Bay! We'll never forget that sail and can't wait to go back and hop aboard again. Dan and Carole are the most gracious hosts and you can really tell they care about your experience on their beautiful boat. They were in no hurry as we docked that evening close to where we were staying in San Fran, so they invited us to stay on board for freshly brewed coffee with a splash of Bailey's...yum! A perfect way to end our cruise. We talked about life and they could not have been more interested and truly caring about our new adventures as (then) a newly engaged couple. I would highly recommend Dan and Carole and sailing Caprice if you are currently researching charters on the Bay. There's no better way to do it than on a Catamaran and Caprice is one of the only Catamaran's that offer charters on the Bay.
