* THE REAGAN RANCH CENTER GALLERIES WILL BE CLOSED FROM MARCH 16TH - 20TH, out of concern for the health and safety of our guests, staff, and the wider community.* The Reagan Ranch Center in downtown Santa Barbara, California is open to the general public for tours and visitation Monday through Thursday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. These galleries feature original Reagan Ranch artifacts matched with state-of-the-art, interactive, multimedia exhibits that highlight the history of Ronald Reagan’s quarter-century at Rancho del Cielo and the accomplishments of his presidency. Over six hours of dynamic multimedia exhibits provide access to exclusive speeches, interviews, radio addresses, and original video presentations. The centerpiece of the gallery is a 28-foot-long interactive “timeline” that gives users the ability to explore the “Western White House” during the 1980s.

Excellent Presentation
I had an afternoon free while in LA and decided to drive to Santa Barbara. I stopped at the center upon recommendation from TripAdvisor comments. I was not disappointed. The docent first asked me how much time I had to spend to determine how much of a detailed overview she should give. I told her I had about an hour and she gave me a 20 minute introduction to the center. She was kind enough to take my picture in front of a portion of the Berlin Wall. The center is very well laid out and very well maintained. It is the next best thing than being able to visit the actual ranch which is closed to the public. This is a great little stop if you are ever in or around Santa Barbara. I highly recommend it. My only complaint is that they don't have a gift shop. Only books are sold. The gift shop is located in Simi Valley at the Reagan Library!

Interesting for RR fans
This is an interesting place to visit if you want to see and hear positive information about our past President personal life. We enjoyed our small conducted tour and the movie. This is the very best part of State Street.
