Nice museum for aviation enthusiasts!

The Planes of Fame Air Museum is located at the Chino Airport in Southern California. It features a collection of nearly 100 aircraft, from a replica of the 1903 Wright Flyer to aircraft from World War I, the Golden Age of Aviation, World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. A large number of these aircraft have been restored to flight and fly regularly. An annual Airshow, special events throughout the year, and educational displays make this a great visit for any fan of history or a simple family outing.

    Great Air Museum!
We had heard of this place for years and finally went. It was fantastic! We loved being able to see all the aircraft that were within touching distance! The fact that most of the aircraft still fly is pretty amazing. We spent over three hours there and still feel like we might have missed something. Can't wait to go there again!

    Love Planes? COME HERE!
We love Plane museums, and we loved seeing this one! We didn't even have time to see all of the exhibits because we wanted to beat the freeway crush back to our lodging. This is near many dairies so it does NOT smell like aviation fuel. :) There are MANY things to see, and a very nice gift shop, also. Next time we will pack a picnic so we don't waste time going out to eat. Biplanes, props, jets and even the USS Enterprise time-line and jets are covered at this museum. Wonderful! I am sure we will return to see what we have missed.
