Wonderful way to see sealife upclose
We have kayaked in the area before but never hydrobike. We made the reservation a month prior as we were camping in the area. This is a good activity as you are not so close to others with some distance involved. I bike frequently so I thought the ride was fun but my companions rarely bike, if ever, and it was a little tiring for them. The guy would make recommendations if you asked questions, and he recommended us to take the 8:30 appointment so easier for us with tide rising. However, he can not predict the weather but it did end up being perfect weather with sun coming out about 45 minutes into our ride. The bike is safe weight over 100#, so it was fine standing on the side or stand up to watch sealife while riding. Definitely a highly suggested activity.

Wonderful nature outing and great exercise too!
My daughter and I enjoyed hydrobiking in the Elkhorn Slough. It was wonderful to see all the birds, otters, sea lions, and other creatures. It was such a beautiful day, and it was very peaceful in the slough. I would recommend this activity to energetic people - you don't glide on a hydrobike, so you'll be pedaling a lot during the two hours! Well worth the effort!

FUN experience!
This a must-do if you are visiting Monterey or Santa Cruz! The booking process was easy and straight forward, all instructions and FAQs covered. We were running a bit late for the start of the rental time and were allowed to keep the hydrobikes for a bit longer to cover up for the time we've missed. Very pleasant and caring staff! Marcus gave us great instructions before the tour and we were able to make the most out of the ride! Saw otters with pups, sea lions, pelicans, and tons of other birds so close to us! Surprisingly, the hydrobikes are very easy to paddle and you do not get wet at all! The only thing I regret now is that we did not sign up for a longer 2-hour rental! Need to come back and have another ride for sure! So much fun!!!
