great whalewatching tour

Early in the morning we went on this beautiful whale watching tour. The sea is more calm in the morning so the chance is smalller to get seasick. We saw a few giant whales not to far from the boat, jumping out the water which was fantastic! Even a few dolphins followed us on the end of the tour. We really recomand this whale watching tour as it is not to crowded and the staff is great.

Whales for sure and a friendly company!
during a trip from San Francisco south to Monterey we stopped at Moss Landing due to a recommendation. We booked a Whale watching tour with KAHUNA (first pavillon R/H on the parking area). The tour took approx. 2 hrs and lots of whales have been present just 2 miles after the Harbor and during the tour. The captain and the tour guide on board have been very friendly and a lot of explanations have been given to us. Due to the limited number of passengers the tour was more familar that other tours on bigger boats or ships. Since we are from Germany it was the first time for us to see whales so close, jumping out of the see and eating. Always in pairs and sometime in a Group of four. It was an unforgettable experiance and we can only recommend to book a tour with KAHUNA (the boat is also called KAHUNA). By the way, for other german people, one of the KAHUNA people was able to speak german due to Air Force helicopter service in Germany. Many thanks for the experiance and the friendly welcome to all of KAHUNA and best luck for the future, we will come back for sure. Brigitte, Olivia and Frank from Berlin Germany
