Excellent museum of air craft
Castle Air Museum is an excellent day trip/visit! They have 71 aircraft, including Air Force 1 used by Reagan and Clinton! They offer guided tours thru this airplane on Saturday and Sunday- the cost is in addition to the entrance fee. It is TOTALLY worth it!! Our guide was Larry- a retired pilot. He was fantastic with his knowledge and thoroughness! Most of the planes are air Force used for fighting wars, supplies, or evacuation. What we found amazing was the size or speed of some of these planes, from a "super-fortress" to a black hawk which clocks at 1200 mph!! They also have an indoor museum with tons of memorabilia from service members.

Huge Selection of Aircraft
If you like planes, this is a must see. An aviation walk through history: World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War, Desert Storm, to present. You can see how aircraft was designed and modified to meet the needs of the military. It was stirring to see the B-24, because my dad was a navigator onboard during WW II, serving in the 11th Air Force, Aleutians. The indoor museum has many real artifacts that help tell the stories of the courageous people who have served, and a bit about the home front.

MUST SEE
I visited Castle Air Museum in the fall of 2022, and I'm going back just as son as the dry weather returns. So many planes. I'll go earlier in the day next time, to give myself time to look each aircraft over.
