A lovely walk in the desert

This is the Cap Rock Nature Loop. It is only 3 miles to enjoy the cacti and the rocks. While we walk we learn about flowers, rocks and way more At one time we had to enter through a small rock. That was fun! How does anything survive? Do the unique adaptations of many plants. and animals. There were a lot of boulders. We passed through the rocks. Wow! A must see! Getting to know the Joshua tree

    Intro to Joshua Tree
Cap Rock is a great place to stop for an introduction to Joshua Tree. There is a short .3 nature trail with views of rocks and trees. The trails are well maintained and marked. There is also a picnic table and a bathroom here. This is also a great place to rock climb.

    Exploration
Great place to get out and climb over the rocks. There is a loop if you want to hike a trail, or you can gaze at the cool rocks, take a photo and move on. I did the later because I got to the park late in the afternoon and had very little time to drive and see everything the park had to offer.
