Continuous occupied lighthouse
We were lucky that when we visited the Redwood Visitor Center, the lady there recommended this lighthouse to us and told us that since the low tide was at 4pm and the high tide was only a few feet high, the lighthouse should have tours starting at 2pm. She was correct. We got there at around 2:30 and people were already lining up outside waiting for the tour. They can take up to ~10 people in each tour max and each tour would visit the gift shop, the living room on the ground floor, then the bedroom on the first floor and finally the lighthouse. The entire tour probably lasted 30 minutes or not. Well worth the admission fee, which was a donation. The tour was given by volunteers . The keepers were also volunteers who "applied" for the job which has a 2-year wait-time, and they got to stay in the lighthouse for 1 month at a time.

Very interesting
This is definitely worth doing. It was a beautiful view of the ocean. You have to go at low tide to get there. The float collection hanging on a tree was very cool. The do tours on Saturday and Sunday during March. It is closed during the week.
