Worth a stop if you are in the area.
This is an alpine lagoon which sits at about 3,750 metres. there is a viewing platform from where you can take photos, and a little shop, and across the road a nice restaurant where you can warm up with a hot meal or drink. Pick your time, maybe earlier in the day - my first pass, I could hardly see 10 metres away, on the second time, I went earlier and got a view of the lake, before it misted over in front of my eyes!! On the opposite side, you can walk up the marked trail to the knoll, and look at the Nevado Del Ruiz mountain - it was too misty on both my visits so I could not see the actual mountain, however it provides lovely views of the surrounding area
