My visit here in Busan was great as I stayed near This beach and was able to have my usual morning run and enjoyed my one hour run. Even though the weather is cold at about 4 degrees on a sunrise 6 am run, was amazed to witness the sun rising in the sky and was able to accomplished my 5 kilometer distance. Highly recommendable to see this area. Even at night, lights are great

Best place to get a dzen
I woke up at 5:20 am to meet a sunrise, so many people over there that early time, jogging, duin yoga and meditation. I came here to find myself, to make a big decision. So the atmosphere of the Morning Haeundae beach helps a lot. The beach is not clean, so the water.

Good beach, but not my favorite and lots of tourists
Haeundae Beach is the "it" beach of Korea, but I honestly think that other beaches that are less populated are more favorable (i.e. Seogwipo in Jeju and Gwangalli in Busan). It is a manmade beach situated next to the city and hosts a giant and very impressive sandcastle festival in April/May. Note that during the peak summer months where weather is warm, the beach is known to be very crowded.
