Gwangalli Beach, Busan, South Korea

4.5 (999 reviews) Spent Ranking #9 in Busan Beaches

A beach view with the Diamond bridge.

If you are ever in Busan make sure to stop by this laid-back beach! Since it's too cold to go for a swim. You can go for a walk or hang out at a cafe with a view of the beach. At night the Gwangandaegyo or Diamond Bridge displays a light show. Tip: You have to wear a mask at all times, no lighting fireworks, and no feeding birds!

    A magical view
We travelled to Gwangali Beach between Christmas and New Year. The beachfront was alive - even at that time of year. Such a beautiful long white sandy beach full of happy people (all wearing big coats). Then on sunset the lights of the engineering masterpiece, the Gwangandaegyo Bridge provided the perfect view. Boat near the beach were sending up fireworks. It was a magical time.

    Lovely beach.
Lovely beach with the views of the bridge and skyscrapers. Clean and well kept. Nice coffee shops and restaurants that line the waterfront nearby. Sadly post C-19, the atmosphere and people have not fully returned. It was busy but not so much. Take a walk, enjoy the setting and then grab a coffee or a bite to eat and enjoy the views some more.
