Great museum

Amazing museum for a very low price. We only paid 3 euros per person for the ticket and it is worth so much more! Might not look like much from the outside but inside the museum spans over 4 floors and presents a large variety of local archaeological finds. Good way to get acquainted with the local history.

Lots to see.
Budva Museum is situated in the Old City, away from the noise of the new town beaches and is certainly worth a visit. Interesting mosaics and wonderful old clothes. Also a far-fetched but thoroughly entertaining story of the founding of Budva (no plot spoilers, but there was a lot of murder and mayhem involved). The Old City is far and away the nicest part of Budva, and you shoukd add the museum to your itinerary when you're there.

Small museum, interesting exhibits
Although the Budva Old Town Museum is located in a small building, you can see here nice archeological and ethnographic exhibits. In the ground floor of the museum there is a lapidary. I think ceramic lovers will be most pleased here. A lot of vases, bowls, plates, all kinds of clay dishes are displayed here. Some of these exhibits date back to the Hellenistic period (5th century BC). The jewelry collection is also beautiful. The entrance fee to the museum is €3.
