Do not bother if you are not fluent in French

I would have loved to give this place a great review. It is a well laid out museum for anyone interested in medicine and medical history. Plenty of interesting exhibits and lots of historical information. I am a doctor. But I am not fluent in French. I was given a paper copy of a translation from an audioguide probably from sometime in the last millennium (we did not see any offers of audioguides in any language today). It caused more irritation and confusion than help and guidance, so I relied mostly on the little written notices by all the objects, and my extremely limited knowledge of French to learn anything from this. The references in the paper were mostly either wrong, did not corresond to anything we could find, or the number it referred to did not exist. My husband, who is not a doctor, but very interested in history, gave up less than half way. The sponsors listed are among the biggest pharmaceutical companies on the planet. They can afford better than this if they care at all.
