Interesting ride on the river
During two hours ride in the long tail boat, we saw few crocodiles, monkeys and a lot of birds. Jungle nature.

Great tour to see the mangroves and proboscis monkeys
This tour is a must-do in Brunei. The tour guide Mark Puter Delima was awesome. I went by myself and the tour was excellent. A Good Boat & Guide is Key
We walked to the Royal Wharf just to look and were approached by a man asking if we wanted a water taxi. Not wanting to be cheated, we listed off where we wanted to go a few times and managed to hire him and his friend, the water taxi driver, to take us to a few places on the Brunei River. For B $35 and 2.5 hours, we went to the Istana Darussalam (the old palace), got off the boat and took pictures. Then the boat took us to see the Probiscis Monkeys plus a few crocodiles, and stopped to walk about twenty minutes to Istana Narul Iman (the current palace). We rode past Kampong Ayer, the water village, and stopped to take photos of sunset behind Sungai Kebun Bridge. Finally, we returned to the Royal Wharf just as it was getting dark, at about 6:30pm. We paid our guide after we got off the boat.
