On July 19th 2019, our family, my two sons, my mother in law and many beloved friends and family held for my forever loved and beautiful wife, her celebration of life after an extremely unexpected and horrible turn of events that led to her passing on Saturday July 6th 2019. We rented this location and everyone involved made it as easy and smooth as possible considering what we were all going trough. Great spot to spend the day!
Hidden in Maple Ridge, Whonnock Lake is a great spot to spend the day! Nice beach area with a play space for kids.Swimming and fishing. We often take our small motorhome up there and spend several hours parked at the edge of the lake. The lodge is awesome and often hosts weddings and celebrations. It is home to a rowing club and you can often watch them training and racing on the lake.

Unexpected sandy beach
Nice sandy beach area and a place to swim - a kids heaven that has something for everyone. Noticed a basketball court, a playground, little forested area all close to the lake and a hall ideal for small functions. Perfect mid week spot if you are in the area.
