    What a great idea!
We'd never been to a catch-and-release aquarium before, but loved the concept and spent a very interesting hour here at Ucluelet Aquarium. The staff were enthusiastic and informative and we learned so much. Local businesses and families sponsor individual tanks - there was a great feeling of a community pulling together to create this wonderful place. Lots of low tanks for children to experience the visit fully. Would definitely recommend!

    A must visit
We often come to Ucluelet in the off season, when the Aquarium is closed - almost all the plants and animals are returned to their natural homes sea annually - an interesting concept. We had heard good things about it so decided to visit this time. It exceeded our expectations. The displays are just excellent, showing incredibly diverse creatures that make up the undersea environment. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. A great non-profit, community educational organization.
