Best walk in Salmon Arm

The only accessible natural waterfront in Salmon Arm that the city hasn’t destroyed (managed by SABNES for the Nature Trust), this 4KM stretch of level trail through the woods and grassy marshes is a delightful haven with lots of birds and lucky spottings of deer, moose and beavers. Easy to walk or cycle with dogs on a leash (except during nesting). Side boardwalks for bird and beaver sighting offer even more variety. Dandy place for every nature lover, much enjoyed by users of all ages.

Tired of being confined to quarters.
This I an excellent walk during these days of social distancing. The trail is wide enough to keep away from fellow walkers, and those you do meet are sociable. Would not do this walk in snow but this is a 4 season walk. The choir in the trees, the amazing scenery and a less than 2 hour walk. Plus Salmon Arm is a small town treat. Once the pandemic is over, do the walk then treat yourself to a treat at the Salmon Arm Pie Company.

    A great walk
This walk, whether spring , summer, or fall, just has a way of bringing peace to a person. Spring has many new birds nesting, summer has all the sounds of nature, and fall has the colors and brisk temps that make you feel good when you get home for some tea or coffee.
