Hike and boat adventure
Boyfriend and I took a staycation and went for a hike up Knox Mountain taking the Ogopogo Trail Which is highly recommended. Gorgeous, breathtaking views of Okanagan Lake. Afterwards we took the boat out from the local docks and cruised around the lake. A very cool spot to check out is Peachland by boat is you feel like a little longer journey!

Impossible to miss in the area
This giant lake can be viewed and accessed from multiple communities. We spent time at the lake in Vernon. Local friends told us that part of the lake was quiet for a Sunday (ie few boats) and as small town folks we appreciated that quiet. If you enjoy doing things in the water, the options are seemingly endless.
