    A Day in the Park
Walk, jog or stroll hand in hand, 2.3 kms takes you all the way around the lake. Stop part way around and let the kids play in the multiple water fountains, swing on the swings. Pack a picnic basket and stop at one of the many tables over looking the lake and enjoy. Take fishing pole and show the kids how to catch a trout, three or four good spots on the shore. Take you baseball and a couple of mitts for a game of catch. Enjoy the scenery.

Beautiful lake with paved walk way.
Enjoyed the walk today but glad there were some benches to sit on as almost 1.5miles. View of Mt. Baker, kids park, eagles nest, and too many gooses! The city should do more to hose down the walkway at night when no people walking, get poop in your shoes! on the grass and other areas. Lots of ducks also. Why are not bylaws enforcing people not to feed this birds? Would be nice just even to park in the lot, walk around the area. Lake beautiful for this city as fishing also I see. Parking limited thou, could by more stalls for families. Will do it again. (longbeach).
