Perfect size and close enough to walk
I am a morning person and go for walks and swims every day before work, and keep it up while on vacation!! This was an amazing walk… I did the loop around the lake and I also did a morning dip in the refreshing water from one dock to the other and back again. Water was not warm, but not cold: I call it refreshing/ perfect. There was only one other person around first thing in AM. Whole trip was a little longer than my usual at @ almost 2 hours return trip to Whistler village. Tip: rinse off at the outdoor shower after being in the water so you don’t get itchy!! Also: watch for black bears… we met one on the path and waiting until they were well into their snacking before we passed… quickly and loudly asp they weren’t startled by us…

Lovely place a stone’s throw from from all the action.
Visitors to Whistler should take the time to walk round “Lost Lake”. It’s very close to the village and is a really peaceful and pretty place. There are a few information boards explaining the geology etc, which I found interesting too!
