Main Beach great for families
I’ve loved coming here for 30 years! The series of docks are great for all levels of swimmers and refreshing to jump in to the water. Water is warmer than other spots, more boat traffic now that the 90s because of all the developed houses right across from Main Beach. Playground was great for our 3.5 year old son (would say great for 3-8 year olds). Sandy beach was raked smooth and as the first visitors of the day (10am on a Tuesday in August) we got our pick of spots. Lots of shade available on the beach, washrooms close, picnic tables and benches. Concession available. Only downfall is high cost of parking but worth it for all the services.

Dog Beach
Awesome place to bring your dog if your dog loves water. They have a dog beach away from the main beach for families. It's a great area to throw a stick and enjoy the beautiful weather. There's always a nice breeze so you never get too hot. It's right after the beach with the concession and the boat launch. Past sunny side campground. It's a rock substrate, so not the most comfortable, but it works. I love bringing my dog here and can't wait for another summer, plus this year I'll have 2 dogs to bring ?

Great Lake Rip off parking
Cultus Lake is a beautiful setting. The only bad thing about it is it costs a ridiculous amount of money to park there . Do not park at the big parking lot that you see when you come to town. It is something like $3.00 an hour. Travel past the town and park for free at the provincial park day sites.
