Nice place to clear the mind

If your looking to go for a nice scenic walk this is a great place to go and it's children friendly the only downside is no dogs allowed other the that it's a beautiful place to check out.

Hidden gem, with lots to see
Just a few turns away from the well known Bridal Veil Falls, on the other side of Highway 1, there is this little place, with a lot to see. If you come early, you might catch a busy beaver, or if the season is right, you will witness the romance of dragon flies. Ducks and geese, are year round residents here. There is a floating boardwalk, to take you right to the best viewpoint on the lake. You can even see the Bridal Falls on the top of the mountain from there. Looking up, the eagles take over the skies, a bit lower, the landing of the gees will keep your eyes busy. The trails are also worth exploring, and easy for young and old, alike.

A lovely place for a picnic or a walk
I love the Cheam Wetlands. It's lovely in any season. There are lots of trails to check out, viewing platforms and even a few Geocaches if you're so inclined. There are several picnic tables, a covered picnic area and outhouses. In the Winter, when the wetlands were frozen, I watched some skaters out on the lake. I would recommend a visit when you are in the area, bring your binoculars and camera, you never know what wild life you may see there.
