Great place for a short walk with kids and see ducks, geese, turtles

I have been driving my grandkids to various places in GVRD to experience being with birds, ducks, geese and others and only realized this month that we don't need to go far to do it. We have now visited this lagoon 3 times the past 2 weeks and we always have bird food always ready in my car. It's a very short walk from Brydon Park which is also a nice playground.

    Family Fun!
    Great place for a stroll around the Lagoon or just still sit on a bench to take in the view or sites & sounds! Our grandkids love feeding the ducks, which keeps everyone very entertained! Puppy friendly just them them on a leash! Small parking lot for vehicles & also street parking which is free!

    Nice gem for the area.
    Nice serene place to walk a well-behaved dog. I was surprised at the size of the Mallard ducks, think they were bigger than my dog ha-ha!, lots of them and Cdn Geese. Loved the fact that they were laying all around the lagoon edge and had absolutely no fear of me or my small dog, that says a lot right there! And bonus when we went around the lagoon I spotted 4 turtles sunning themselves on logs. I had a very pleasant experience, not too many people, enjoyed the quiet and found the lagoon area very clean.
