Great Gear with Great Prices - good staff
*Vast selection of good crafts and accessories, almost all of which you may "Try Before You Buy"!!! *A short, well maintained trail leads from the store to the water for those "Try Outs". *Staff are knowledgeable and there when you need them, otherwise they will stay out of your face and give you space. Usually with a smile... * Very competitively priced, - which is a surprise considering they really don't have any competition!!!

Good Kayak - unfriendly staff
I rented a kayak from this place, and have to say if I had not wanted to go kayaking so badly I would have walked away at the unfriendliness of the sales person. I guess she just had a very bad day and took it out on me. The kayak though was in good condition and Lake Kathlyn is absolutely serene. Just so you know: if you kayak Lake Kathlyn you have to drag your kayak a very steep hill up and down to get to the creek leading to the lake.
