We visited the 5th fort in winter, which made the building look very harsh and athmospheric. This is the fort builtat the end of 19 century. You can freely walk through the dark tunnels and see the places where the cannons stood. Use a flash not to stumble! The cost was 3 BYN.

    Not a museum like usual ones
    This fort is one of more than 10 that were once around Brest and is the only one in a good shape. You can walk around in and on the fort, which is partly covered with grass which adds to the strange atmosphere: now it is a very quiet place, but once there were battles fought and you can still see the remainings of that. Inside there is a small exhibition, but without english infos.
