If you're find of Soviet machinery/railway stuff, this museum is for you. You can climb onboard some trains and appreciate their magnificence. In case it is too cold, there is a small museum indoors, where you can see some memorabilia.

    Unique set of railway cars
    This museum has a large number of unique railway cars. Definitely worth a visit. There is a small indoor section too. Note that the entrance is on the south side.

    Steaming
    For the €2 entry fee you can trainspot to your hearts content. There must be 50 or so retired locos from the days of soviet steam and diesel along with a few electric engines too. More needs to be made of this place especially with regards to English and cafe facilities. Bit of a walk out of town but well worth it and handy to combine with a trip round the fortress. Don't climb on the exhibits!
