    Unique
Real Ancient Rus wooden houses. Have seen no analogue in Ukraine, Russia and Belarus. Worth visiting.

Unbelievable remnants of a medieval village.
I have never seen before so intact excavations and relics of a wooden village originally from, I guess, 9th - 10th centuries. Log walls remained intact up to the height of 1.6 metres (5 ft) with the plan of the village preserved. Buildings are very small (5 m2) and bulit very near to each other (0.6 - 1 m apart) to protect the village from attacers. You can only guess how big families of many children could live inside such small houses. A replica of a fully furnished house is on display. Very small entrance fee is required (1.3 EUR), rest rooms available, souvenirs can be purchased. Unforunately descriptions mostly in belorussian and russian only.
