Accessible beach and inlet walkway for fishing
Known by Quebec and new York visitors as a cheap access to the ocean , the Boynton Inlet is a beautiful underdeveloped park for walking to the ocean or intracoastal . Parking is free though overrun in season by out of state license plates including some living out of their cars. The southwestern end of the park has a picnic area next to a very small beach safe for children to wade without surf to knock them over. The Boynton Inlet is a popular access for motor boats and some ski doos to take to the ocean from moorings on the intracaostal. Fishing biat for the day trippers come through the turbulent canal. Visitors can watch as boats come and go all day. Active fishing is found along the walls of the inlet and out the sea walls. Licenses are required to fish for most except the very old and the very young. The beach can get narrow and scrappy at high tide. No lifeguard is close to the Boynton Inlet so a walk down the sand to the lifeguard is recommended if going into the surf.

    Never packed with people.
The inlet is a nice way to spend some time. It is enjoyable to watch people fishing from the pier, the boats coming and going into the inter coastal, and beach goers enjoying a day at the beach.Parking is free across the street and there are restrooms there as well. The sand is regular tan sand , not like the sand in downtown DelRay, but with out the mobs of people it is relaxing..
