This sacred site is one of many around the world that seeks to connect an agricultural society with the seasons. The east-west stones helped determine when to plant and when to harvest. A tomb on the property gives some insight into burial customs, too.

Muiscas Observatory
This place really surprised me. The complexity of the site sheds light on the culture of this dynamic Pre-Colombian culture

Good explanation by the guide on site
This place is just a display of phallic symbols of all sizes which can make a few of you smile. However, the excellent explanation by the guide will reveal much more about the culture and the intelligence of the ancient Muiscas.
