Interesting
It is only a 20 minute walk from the center of town. Small but very well organized. 6000 COP for adults and 4000 for children. It has a paleogarden in the back very well maintained.

Things to do in Boyaca
I visited this museum in Villa de Leyva. It is small but very well maintained and run by the Universidad Nacional. Staff was very friendly. Although I got there at almos lunch time when it closes, I had the chance to walk around.

If You Like Dinosaurs
The kids in our group like dinosaurs so thought this would be interesting for them. Turns out it was interesting for all. Because the area used to be a sea bed, there are lots of fossils, etc that are being discovered. This is where they clean and examine them. The tour was in English and very informative. It's not a big place at all, but great to see "real" specimens. Some of the finds they have are very important. The kids really liked it. Kids under 8 may find it a little boring as its not too interactive.
