    Drinks
We stopped here one evening for drinks on the way to dinner. The decorations are beautiful. The staff were friendly and bought us a little plate of chocolate pieces while we looked at the menu. My husband ordered a hot chocolate and was asked if he wanted bread or a croissant with it. I ordered a chocolate cocktail. My husband enjoyed both his hot chocolate and the croissant but I was quite surprised when they served me the cocktail to see it was just slightly bigger than a shot glass yet had cost $25,000 which is more than £6 ! Ridiculously overpriced for what you get and unfortunately wasn't even that nice to make up for it. When we asked for the bill we noticed that we had been charged for the croissant as well but were under the impression that it came with the hot chocolate since it had only been offered to my husband and not myself and was just a question of 'would you like bread or a croissant' and not 'would you like to order anything to go with it' so we felt that was a bit misleading.

It is not a museum, but good place for a snack
There are 2 Chocolate museums in Villa de Leyva. One is more like a store, where you can buy chocolates with different shapes. The other has a shop and a restaurant. This second one is very pretty inside, and in the back has an amazing garden. They are pet-friendly! The downside is the food is overpriced and not that good. I ordered 2 dishes, one national beer, and one chocolate based beer, and I paid $150,000 COP, which is about 50 USD.
