Great tour, great guide!
The private (affordable for our group of 8!) two hour welcome tour of the Freedom Trail was the perfect way to see these sites. Ted is of course knowledgeable when it comes to Boston, the Freedom Trail and history, but additionally he really took our comfort into consideration on a hot morning in the city, guiding us to shaded areas and seating before telling us about a site. He is very engaging, gives an excellent tour with the background of issues at each site, and it feels like hanging out with a friend rather than someone you just met or a dry historian. The time flew by and the walking was easy. Everyone in our group, even the teens, agreed a tour really was the best way to see the Freedom Trail and we all would highly recommend Ted and Hub Town Tours.

Phenomenal Tour!!!
I can't say enough fantastic things about Ted and his tour. We had a private, all day tour, with him and he brought the lead up to the Revolutionary War and the War itself to life with his historical knowledge and story telling ability. He kept our entire family engaged for an entire day walking throughout Boston. His incredible recollection of detail and true passion for what he's explaining to us made it so enjoyable to learn from him. He is personable, funny, and filled with knowledge about US history. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a tour of the Freedom Trail and Boston. He absolutely exceeded our expectations and it was one of the best private tours we have ever had!!!

Engaging, educational tour with four elementary school aged children!
We had a private tour of the Freedom Trail. Two families with children in third through fifth grade. We were a little worried about a 3 hour walking tour with the kids initially. We asked Ted to break out our tour into 2 hour and 1 hour segments, with lunch in between and he was very accommodating. Ted kept our 4 children engaged for the entire time of the tour. He told stories about the road to the American Revolution that made it fun and engaging. Ted was amazing, to say the least. Despite the cold weather and rain on the day we did the tour, our kids didn’t complain at all because Ted made the tour so fun for them. He had pictures with him that helped the kids follow along with the story. HIGHLY recommend doing this tour with Ted. Thank you to Ted for a fun educational tour!
