No problem finding it, we came in from the north from Spearman on highway 207 headed towards Stinnett. There'll be a little green sign along the highway that'll say Adobe Walls and pointing south. If you miss the first one there will be a second one a few miles down the highway. Just follow the road and the occasional signs and keep going, you'll be on the Turkey Track Ranch, cross a few cattle guards, the road turns to gravel, then pavement, then back to gravel to the end. It's a good road in dry weather. Fantastic piece of old west history! Read the story about the 1874 fight ahead of time and you'll understand what took place there better. Nothing there but the two monuments and Billy Dixon's grave. The country is virtually unchanged from what it was back then. We ate our picnic lunch out of the back of the car while we were there and just enjoyed and soaked it all in! Well worth the time to go to it.See more..
