Small but interesting

Museo del Oro Zenú is part of the regional network of Museo del Oro, Bogota. It hosts the golden adornments of the Zenú people that lived in the Caribean plains two thousand years ago, and their ceramics, and it states that Zenues still live and preserve their way of living near Cartagena.

Small museum worth a quick visit.
Anyone who has been to the gold museum in Bogota will know this small museum does not provide the same experience as the superb Bogota offering and given the choice between the two museums, this is not the one we would choose. That said, it is worth a quick visit particularly for anyone who has visited the main museum in Bogota as a lot of the background information provided there aids understanding of the displays. Some of the video displays are also quite informative. Free to enter but should not take more than 30 minutes.

    Small musem
This museum is pretty small, and there isn't much to it, but hey, unlike its more famous cousin in Bogota, this one is free. We had a hard time even finding the place because the entrance is pretty nondescript. You can see everything in about 10 minutes.
