Visited before Christmas and enjoyed the train layout and antique farming instruments on display
Enjoyed the train layout and antique farming instruments on display. Had some free cookies and hot cocoa, which added to the cozy ambiance.

Bishop Hill Heritage Assoc.
The Steeple Bldg is the main museum of the BHHA. One of many pre-civil war buildings still in daily use. 2 floors of exhibits showcasing the Utopia on the Prairie which began in 1846 as a Swedish commune.

Interesting history
I learned a great deal about the early life in Bishop Hill and it was a truly amazing place The place was full of interesting items and stories about the earlier days. It was well worth every minute we spent here. I will come back because I learned they are always adding to the place
