Amazing
I had been looking forward to seeing this for a long time and finally I made it! What remains of the Wall gives you an idea of what it might have been like when it was up, and some of the murals are very moving. It is free to visit but all open air so go on a good day. I went in the late afternoon, and the area on the banks of the Spree got quite animated with people eating and drinking towards the evening, so I think that was a good time of the day to go.

A break on the city sightseeing tour
It’s a standard stop on the hop on hop off bus routes. For the city sightseeing tour (red bus), the driver takes a 20 minute break, so it’s an opportunity to take a look. The outdoor provides an opportunity to turn the remnants of the Berlin Wall into something. There are lots of cafes and coffee shops nearby; great to grab a bite and coffee. For me the best part of the whole gallery is the immortal painting of Leonid Brezhnev and Erich Honecker kissing (likely making fun of how Brezhnev greets guests!). Worth a short visit at least.
