I'm strongly recommend a boat trip on this beautiful river. It offer various landscape I recommend a boat renting on the tarpon lodge.

Beautiful but quiet river cruise
We made a ~2h river cruise to find animals along the way but not much was to be found along the way. The river is vast and cruising along it was an experience. For animal spotters there were several birds and some monkeys found during the cruise. It was a calm and peaceful place to visit and just enjoy the views.
