Essential Belfast Experience.
The Titanic Museum commands an impressive exterior and position. The building alone is worth a visit. It is appropriately priced and you should allow a good amount of time to explore it in its entirety. Much of the initial displays discuss the history of Belfast, it’s industrialisation, linen trade and maritime history. As you progress the displays focus more on the Titanic itself, culminating in the sinking, it’s aftermath and portrayal in media. There is a ride at one point which adds some excitement and many displays are interactive. We paid extra for the audio guide which I would not recommend as it added little to the experience and was not always clearly marked where each subject should be listened to. There is plenty to read, hear, see etc without it. Changes made during the pandemic are appropriate with all guests expected to wear facial coverings and follow a one way system. At times however, areas became busy and it was difficult to appropriately social distance. Hand sanitisation stations are located throughout. As the title suggests, this is an essential visit for anyone visiting Belfast and well worth the journey.

Visited the titanic museum on the 10:30 slot. It was a bit busy with bunches of people clogging up particular areas slowing the flow. Fortunately I had selected the audio guide as part of my ticket so I didn't feel like I had to stop at every single information panel. The 6 minute ride was interesting but not essential if you are short on time. Overall the museum is well presented and very interesting. I would recommend to anyone visiting Belfast.
